Site Evaluation

My site evaluations for internal medicine were conducted remotely. Both of the evaluations were one on one, which allowed for detailed discussions of my HPIs. My site evaluator went through my HPI and gave constructive criticism on pertinent things for clinical practice, as this was our last evaluation as students. For drug cards, we went over the clinically relevant facts about each drug, which helps understand the impact of these drugs in real practice. Additionally, I discussed a journal article that discussed the management of symptomatic anemia in patients that identify as Jehovah’s witness. I chose this article because it was important to me to practice evidence based medicine after experiencing this exact challenge on my rotation. I learned a lot during these evaluations and am grateful for the knowledge shared.
