Site Evaluation

My site evaluations were conducted remotely. For the first site evaluation, I presented a case on an acute gout flare. For the final site evaluation, I presented a case on BPH and a journal article that covers the most recent minimally invasive surgical treatment approaches for BPH. We also discussed our drug cards and the most high yield facts for each drug that would be beneficial to remember for the PANCE. Because these were group evaluations, I was able to learn a lot from my classmates who were on different long term care rotations than I was. Being that one of my classmates was rotating in an outpatient setting, the presentations were different. Overall, I learned a lot about different geriatric diagnoses and which topics in pharmacology I need to review.
